Bihada Ichizoku Sheet Mask Review

Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing a face sheet mask. This time I’m going to be reviewing a Japanese one! I’ve only tried Korean and western face masks before – this will be my first Japanese one I tried.

The first thing we have to discuss is this packaging!! Is it not the prettiest sheet mask packaging you have seen?? I’ve had this sheet mask for months and haven’t been able to use it this whole time… it’s too pretty!! I don’t want it to expire so that’s why I’m here today actually using it. haha

Check out my post when I first got it. – Daiso Haul20200704_121323-01The packaging information if you want to see. Sorry if it’s not the clearest, I tried my best! Unfortunately my phone didn’t want to focus, I think it’s because of the sparkle.20200704_121351-01

Firs thing I noticed was it came with this plastic in between the mask. I’m guessing it was to keep the mask in a neater position. Also to make it easier to pull it apart when you’re about to apply it. Regardless, it did make it easier and I do say was quite nice. It was my first time trying one out that came like this.

So for the mask, the next thing I noticed was the scent. It has an amazing smell!! I don’t know how to describe it, but it was light and pretty. I really liked it. When applying the mask I did notice that it wasn’t too saturated with product like the face masks I’ve previously tried. It didnt leave my hands as sticky and or wet compared to the other ones.

When I applied to my face I felt the mask was pretty big, but I think that’s good because it can fit multiple faces. Leaving it for 15 minutes, while I waited I kept feeling the edges to the mask lift up which wasn’t ideal. I think it’s because it wasn’t that wet in the first place that it obviously dried faster. It was annoying to have to constantly push it back in place, but even then it kept lifting up.

Fast forward to taking it off,  I felt my skin really soft and bit plump. It also felt a little tight, but in a good way. My skin doesn’t feel sticky like how most of the times it does. Which I really liked and it wasn’t wet either.

Pros:

  • The scent
  • Packaging
  • Leaves skin soft
  • Doesnt feel sticky

Cons:

  • Mask kept lifting
  • Didnt feel like skin looked much different rather than feeling nicer

Overall,  I’d say it was a win in my book. I quite liked it and would I buy it again? I would buy it again.

Have you tried any face mask lately? If so let me know which. Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope to see you next time, bye!
